Go Green Car and Van Hire can help you make genuine reductions in the CO2 emissions associated with your business travel by the low emissions and hybrid vehicles we can offer you at very competitive prices.

We also understand that the World Resource GHG accounting protocol recommends that CO2 emissions, associated with business travel, should be included in your corporate report. This is particularly important in service companies, where business related travel typically represents a significant proportion of total emissions. Obtaining accurate data on business travel can be both a
difficult and time consuming process.

At Go Green Car and Van Hire we make things simple for you by providing our commercial clients with a summary report of their CO2 emissions from all the vehicles you have rented from us, over your chosen time period. This data can be directly incorporated into your carbon footprint report; so not only do we help you reduce emission we can also help you prove it.

Methodology
Reported emissions are calculated using the following methodology:

Vehicle specific emission factor (g/km) x distance travelled (miles) x 1.609/1000 = kg C02

This methodology is consistent with World Resource Institute GHG protocol, ISO14064 Part 1 and DEFRA reporting requirements.

NOTE:
Where Vehicle specific emission data is not available, then the following default emission factors will be used, in line with DEFRA 2008 reporting recommendations:

• Petrol vans up to 1.25 tonnes 224.4 g/km

• Diesel vans up to 3.5 tonnes 271.6 g/km
